FN-2019-432 - NetIron OS “Topo Table Read Packet Parity Error” seen in Sysmon log

Notice Summary
When running the affected NetIron SW releases, the Topology Table is not correctly initialized at boot up.  This will cause Network Processor parity errors for the Line cards listed above with the below warning messages in the Sysmon log:
Rx Dispatch Control Path Parity Error on port range 13/5 - 13/8
Topo Table Read Packet Parity Error on port range 13/5 - 13/8
Background
The defect was first introduced in 6.0.00g and corrected in 6.0.00j.
Impact
The parity errors can cause issues with control traffic including and not limited to LACP BPDU communication.

Symptoms
Known symptoms include: LACP links configured with Per-VLAN RSTP on an untagged port can observe those links to go into LACP-BLOCKING when reloaded with the affected software version.

N/A
Solution
NetIron software releases 6.0.00g and 6.0.00h are removed from the Extreme Portal due to Defect ID NI-17675. The fix is in NI 6.0.00j and later releases.
