Objective
  • To change the configured SNMP credentials on an Extreme Control (NAC) appliance.
Environment
  • Extreme Control (NAC)
  • All Software Releases
  • nacconfig
Procedure
Execute the following command and run through the prompted script to change the SNMP configuration:

root@control:~$ nacconfig


 
Additional notes
To alter the SNMP credentials on Extreme Management Center please refer to How to setup and Use Netsight Authorization/Device Access to access Netsight for specific users groups and privileges.

NOTE: Do not use snmpconfig that may be found on Extreme Control appliances. This script is no longer maintained and will lead to inconsistent SNMP operation.
