Objective
A quick guide on how to view and configure the maximum number of concurrent client connections allowed to connect to Extreme Management Center.
Environment
Extreme Management Center (XMC, formerly NetSight)
Procedure
To view the concurrent client connections and to be able to modify the maximum:
  1. Log into Extreme Management Center.
  2. Open the Legacy Console Java-based app and log in.
  3. Navigate to Tools -> Server Information
    • Under "Client Connections" you can review the current active client connections to Extreme Management Center, via both the Legacy Console and Web GUI.
    • To change the # of clients allowed, click Configure and increase or decrease the current connection limit; the default is either 25 or 50. Click OK to save.
To view the concurrent client connections only:
  1. Log into Extreme Management Center.
  2. Navigate to Administration -> Server Information to view the "Client Connections" list.
