Environment
ISW version V01.01.02.0005
EXOS All
Procedure
On ISW Switch GUI:
  • Create a VLAN on all the switches as a first step, in case if there is a VLAN created already make sure the same VLAN is connected to the EXOS switch as a tagged port.
  • Assign an IP (Configuration > System > IP > Add Interface > Enter the IPv4 address on the same subnet).
  • Change the NTP server settings (Configuration > System > NTP).

  • Save the configuration changes made.
On The EXOS switch:
For switch to act as a NTP Server -
enable ntp
enable ntp vlan <vlan name>
enable ntp vlan <vlan name> broadcast-server
configure ntp local-clock stratum 2

 
Additional notes
Note: Please make sure that you enter the VLAN details on which you want to act it as a Server.
