Objective
To designate a port as trunk and add allowed vlans to said port
Environment
  • WiNG 5.x
  • WiNG 7.x
  • WiNG APs
  • WiNG Controllers
  • CLI
  • SSH (Secure Shell)
Procedure
For this example the configured trunk port will be ge 1 and allowed VLAN id's 1,10,20. Those parameters will change depending on what ports and VLANs are actually configured and being used in your deployment. 
  1. Configuring the port/s on the controller:
Log into your controller and run the following commands:
>en
#self
Enter configuration commands, one per line.  End with CNTL/Z.
#int ge 1
#switchport mode trunk
#switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,10,20
#com wr
  1. Configuring the port in the AP profile on the controller or virtual controller:
Log into the controller and run the following commands:
>en
#config t
Enter configuration commands, one per line.  End with CNTL/Z.
#profile <ap model> <profile name> 
#int ge 1
#switchport mode trunk
#switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,10,20
#com wr
  1. Configuring the port directly on APs
Log into AP and run the following commands:
>en
#self
Enter configuration commands, one per line.  End with CNTL/Z.
#int ge 1
#switchport mode trunk
#switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,10,20
#com wr

Other VLAN options:
#switchport trunk allowed vlan ?
  VLAN-ID  The List of the VLAN IDs and aliases e.g. 10-20,25,30-35,$GUEST
  add      Add VLANs to the current list
  none     Remove all VLANs from the current list
  remove   Remove VLANs from the current list
