Procedure
set port duplex <PORT_STRING> < half | full >
set port speed <PORT_STRING> < 10 | 100 | 1000 >
set port negotiation <PORT_STRING> disable
Additional notes
The manually configured port duplex and speed commands do not take effect until port negotiation is set to disable on the port(s)

Note:  When hard ( negotiation disabled ) setting a Gigabit Ethernet port  for 1000 full, the port duplex to full as noted in the steps ordered steps above must be set first, or the following error will be seen. Default speed 1000 mbps not supported on port ge.x.x
