Objective
Configure a Cisco Enterprise Switch/Router for redirection utilizing a route map by redirecting http traffic with a dscp marking to a EAC (NAC) portal page.

This article assumes that you have previously configured the Wireless Controllers, VNS Roles and EAC (NAC) configurations as required and recommended for BYOD.
Environment
  • Cisco Router
  • Extreme Wireless
  • Extreme Access Control (Formerly NAC)

 
Procedure

Configure the Cisco Switch/Router:

1. Telnet or SSH into the Cisco Switch/Router 

2. Proceed into Enable Mode
enable
3. Proceed into Configuration Mode
configure terminal
4. Configure the Global Level ACL commands
access-list 111 permit tcp any any eq www dscp cs2
5. Create route MAP
route-map Wireless permit 1
 match ip address 111
 set ip next-hop 10.1.1.100
6 Configure/Create the Interface with the ACL commands on the VLAN to be utilized for the Wireless Traffic
interface Vlan110
 description WifiGuest
 ip address 10.10.0.1 255.255.0.0
 ip helper-address 10.1.1.10
 ip helper-address 10.1.1.100
 ip policy route-map Wireless
7. Save the configuration
exit
write memory
8. Test the redirection to ensure the policy based routing is functioning and verify the route-map is in use
show route-map Wireless
