Configure the switch to log SNMP errors such as bad SNMP authentication
Environment
S-Series
Procedure
Configure logging on the Security application to 7 to have the S-Series print a message when a user tries to access the switch with a bad SNMP community name.

set logging default severity 7
set logging application Security level 7
set logging local console enable file enable sfile enable

Additional notes
Level seven was set to show failed log in attempts but level eight could be used to get even more detailed logs about SNMP.
