Procedure
Auto-negotiation is enabled by default on all ports.

To disable auto-negotiation on all ports, type the following from the config prompt...
(Extreme 220) #configure
(Extreme 220) (config)# no auto-negotiate all

To re-enable auto-negotiation on all ports, type the following from the config prompt...
(Extreme 220) #configure
(Extreme 220) (config)# auto-negotiate all

To disable auto-negotiation and set the speed/duplex on a particular port, type the following from the interface config prompt...
speed {10|100|1000|2.5G|10G|20G|25G|40G|50G|100G} {halfduplex|full-duplex}
Example: to set port 0/10 manually to speed 100 and duplex full....
(Extreme 220) #configure
(Extreme 220) (config)# interface 0/10
(Extreme 220) (Interface 0/10)# speed 100 full-duplex
To configure the 10G ports
(Extreme 220) (Interface 4/0/26)#speed 10G full-duplex
To enable auto-neg on port 0/10...
(Extreme 220) #configure
(Extreme 220) (config)# interface 0/10
(Extreme 220) (Interface 0/10)# speed auto
Additional notes
The release firmware 1.02.04.0007 now allows the user to change the speed and duplex on the 10gig ports available on the 220 series.
