Procedure
  1. Export running config from the device that is being replaced
  2. Identify the device level configuration for the device that you wish to replace within the running config
Example:
!
ap7532 AA-BB-CC-DD-EE-FF
 use profile default-ap7532
 use rf-domain default
 hostname ap7532-LAB
!

      3. Remove line "ap7532 AA-BB-CC-DD-EE-FF" from running-config and replace with the word "self".

           Example:
!
self
 use profile default-ap7532
 use rf-domain default
 hostname ap7532-LAB
!

       4. Upload/copy the modified running config to replacement device and reboot

            Example:

ap7532-880D7F> enable
ap7532-880D7F># copy tftp://x.x.x.x/running-config running-config
ap7532-880D7F># reload

        5. Please ensure you select “no” when asked to save the current configuration otherwise the new config that was uploaded will not take effect on reboot.

            Example:

The system will be rebooted, do you want to continue? (y/n): y
Save current configuration? ([y]es/[n]o/[d]isplay unsaved/[c]ancel reload): n
