How to authenticate wired/third party AP clients on identifi controller?
Environment
Identifi controller with wired or third party AP clients
Procedure
1. Add a new physical topology with “3rd Party” checked. Configured the IP address and enable DHCP server

2. Add new roles to the controller. Access Control MUST be “Containment VLAN”. Attach the topology created previously to “VLAN”. In this example, two new roles were created, namely “3rd party Unregistered”, “3rd party Public”

3. Add Policy Rules to the “Role”

4. Add a new “WLAN” with “Service Type” “3rd Party”. Add IP and MAC of the 3rd Party AP(s)

5. Configure the “Auth & Acct” of the WLAN

6. Create a New VNS. Attach “WLAN” and “Role” to the newly created VNS. Select Non-Authenticated and Authenticated role to be “3rd party Unregistered” & “3rd party Public” respectively

P.S. If the authentication involves NAC, make sure that the role returned by NAC match with what was defined in identifi controller
