Objective
  • How to bind a specific MAC address to a port and thus prevent any other MAC address(es) from passing traffic on that port?

Procedure
The commands listed below are to be configured to restrict all traffic on a specific port to just a specific end-device or mac address, for example : xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx and block all other unauthorized mac addresses. 

enable mac-locking
enable mac-locking ports <port no.> 
configure mac-locking ports <port no.> static add station xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
configure mac-locking ports <port no.> first-arrival limit-learning 0
