Procedure
1. Hardware Requirement
 - Summit X670-G2-48x-4q: Port 57 and 61 used for 160G stacking, Port 49, 53, 57 and 61 used for 320G stacking.
 
2. Software Requirement
 - Ensure all the switches in a stack have the same EXOS/bootrom/license level, and boot to the same partition.

When the license level is different across master-capable nodes in a stack, the following command should be configured to lower the effective license to the common level.

 
# configure stacking {node-address node-address | slot slot-number} license-level [core|advanced-edge|edge]

Note: The following steps are to build a stack using SummitStack-V160 which requires two 40Gb front ports so that the other two (49, 53) can be used for uplinks.

3. Stacking Cable Connection
 - Various QSFP+ optics/cables can be used for stacking ports: 40G MPO cables with QSPF+ optics, QSFP+ direct-attach cables, etc.

4. Stacking Configuration Steps
 - Enable "stacking-support" to use port 57 and 61 as statcking ports, and reboot switches, respectively. 

 
# enable stacking-support
# configure stacking-support stack-ports all selection native v160 
# reboot
- Enable stacking (Easy Setup) on the switch which is desired to be slot 1.  
 
# enable stacking
# Yes
- All of the switches will reboot as a stack with the factory default configuration.

5. Change Stacking Configuration

- To change slot number, please use the following commands in the current master node and reboot the entire stack or a particular node. 

 
# configure stacking node-address <node-mac-address> slot-number 1        
# reboot stack-topology or reboot node-address <node-mac-address>
 * node-mac-address is the mac address of a switch node in a stack and can be displayed by "show stacking" or "show stacking configuration" commands.  

- To change stack master priority, please use the following commands in the current master node and reboot the entire stack or a particular node.

 
# configure stacking node-address <node-mac-address> priority 100   >>> The larger, the higher priority    
# reboot stack-topology or reboot node-address <node-mac-address>
- To change master-capability, please use the following commands in the current master node and reboot the entire stack or a particular node.
 
# configure stacking node-address <node-mac-address> mastercapability [on | off] 
# reboot stack-topology or reboot node-address <node-mac-address>
