Procedure
1. Login ADSP primary system as admin via browser

2. Configuration > Appliance Management > Configuration Backup
  • By default there is a daily local scheduled backup job. If there is no scheduled backup job then create one see example screen below

  • To save the change click Apply button at bottom left of the screen

3. Login ADSP standby system as admin via browser

4. Configuration > Appliance Management > Configuration Backup
  • There should not be any scheduled backup jobs on standby system. If there are disabled them, see screen below​

  • To save the change click Apply button at bottom left of the screen

5. Configuration > Appliance Management > Redundant Appliance Sync
  • Fill out necessary information such as IP address of primary system, port number, login credential (admin) etc,. see example screen below.
Standby sync
  • To save the change click Apply button at bottom left of the screen

Configuration complete.
 
Additional notes
Validation;
  • User admin account must be resident on both systems for synchronization to work
  • Scheduled backup job on primary system
  • Never scheduled backup job and synchronization job at the same time
  • No active backup job running during synchronization process 
  • Never scheduled, remote, or on-demand backup on standby system
  • Synchronization should only be done on standby system
