Procedure
How to copy and load a backed up config on S-Series
  1. Set up a TFTP server that is reachable by the switch via IP connectivity.
  2. Place the backed up config file in the root directory of the TFTP server
  3. Be sure to turn off any firewalls on the TFTP server PC as this will likely block TFTP traffic
  4. run the following commands on the switch
S-Series(su)->copy tftp://1.1.1.1/configfilename.txt slot1/configfilename.txt
S-Series(su)->configure slot1/configfilename.txt
This command will reset the system and clear current configuration.
Are you sure you want to continue (y/n) [n]?
     5.Type 'y' and Press Enter
     6.The switch will now reboot and load the new config file

How to Delete Configuration Files​​​​​​​
  1. Login into Chassis with Super-User Rights
  2. Execute "dir"
  3. To delete a file, execute "delete slot<slot #>/<file name>"
  4. Verify file has been deleted by executing "dir" and seeing the file is not gone.
Additional notes
Test network connectivity to the TFTP server from the replacement switch via ping. 
Be sure that the IP address used on the replacement switch does not conflict with the existing  switch if on the live network.
