Procedure
For purposes of ADSP reporting, Location tracking or other sensor related operations you shall configure a sensor policy to be mapped to wireless access points' radio.

In addition to WIPS support, sensor functionality has now been added for the ExtremeLocation system. The system for Wi-Fi locationing includes WiNG controllers, and access points
functioning as sensors. Within the architecture, sensors scan for RSSI data on an administrator defined interval and send to a dedicated locationing  server resource, as opposed to an ADSP server, ExtremeLocation or Euclid server. The server collects the RSSI data from WiNG sensor devices, and calculates the location of Wi-Fi devices.

Use this policy to configure a mode of scanning, the channels to scan (in case scanmode is set to custom-scan), and the RSSI interval.
For the sensor policy to take effect, use the example policy either in the access point’s RF Domain context or in the access point’s device context.

Additional notes
NOTE: If a dedicated sensor is utilized with WIPS for rogue detection, any sensor policy used is discarded and not utilized by the sensor.
To avoid this situation, use ADSP channel settings exclusively to configure the sensor and not the WiNG interface.
