To disable the DOSATTACK: IPSPOOF ATTACK message on a WiNG AP from CLI
Environment
  • All WiNG Enterprise APs
  • WiNG 5.x
  • CLI
  • SSH


 
Procedure
Prerequisites:
  • SSH (secure shell) client such as PuTTy.exe or similar
  • Ethernet connection
  • DHCP IP address or zero config IP address
  • Make sure that the cause of these messages is not malicious before proceeding 
Example of  DOSATTACK: IPSPOOF ATTACK message:

Instructions:

Log into the AP via SSH using PuTTY.exe or similar client and run the following commands:
 
>enable
#conf t
#firewall-policy <policy name>        (If you have not created a firewall policy then use policy name: default)
#no ip dos ipspoof
#com wr
