Procedure

Before you start...
  1. The 200 cannot have any configuration on it, it has to be 100% out of the box with NO CONSOLE cable attached to it
  2. Units cannot be stacked
  3. DHCP should be configured on the network you are attaching the 200 Series to
  4. Make sure your extremecontrol.<your domain> resolves to the IP of your Extreme Management Server (nslookup)
  5. Make sure you have a 200 Series reference firmware defined on your Extreme Management Server - How to set a reference image in Extreme Management Center
Basic Config:
  • Connect your 200 Series to your network
  • Open and log into Extreme Managment Center 
  1. Select Network
  2. Select Discovered & Highlight (select) your 200 Series switch 
  3. Select Configure Devices
  4. On the Device Tab enter in System Name (a must), Location, SNMP Profile, Default Site location

  1. Select the ZTP+ Device Settings Tab
  2. Make sure you uncheck "Use Discovered IP", enter in your IP settings or Select the "Use Discovered IP" option
  3. Click Save

Be patient, once the process completes then your switch will disappear from the Discovered Device list and show up under your Devices List
