Procedure
Login to the AP via SSH (Secure Shell) or console (baud rate 19200 or 115200) using Putty.exe or similar client and run the following commands:

en>
#delete startup-config
Delete startup-config? y
#reload
The system will be rebooted, do you want to continue? (y/n):y

Alternatively:

en>
#erase startup-config
Erase startup-config? (y/n):y
#reload

Additional notes
  • When you type "yes" to confirm reload, you might be prompted to save the running config. Always reply with No. If by mistake you reply with Yes, you would have recreated the startup-config file. In such a case simply repeat the procedure to delete the startup-config.
  • This procedure applies to all WiNG 5.x firmware. This process is applicable only from CLI.
