Procedure
Follow the three simple steps below to configure mirror on an EXOS solution
  1. create mirror
  2. configure mirror
  3. enable mirror
Syntax:
  1. To create Mirror​:
    • create mirror <MIRROR_NAME>
  2. To enable mirroring on multiple ports, use the following command:
    • configure mirror <MIRROR_NAME> to port-list <port list> loopback-port <port>  
  3. Configure Mirror destination port:
    • enable mirror <MIRROR_NAME> to port <PORT>​​
​Example:
create mirror EXTRMirror
configure mirror EXTRMirror to port-list 1:10,1:11 loopback-port 1:49
configure mirror EXTRMirror add port 1:1 ingress-and-egress
configure mirror EXTRMirror add port 1:2 ingress-and-egress
configure mirror EXTRMirror add port 1:3 ingress-and-egress
enable mirror EXTRMirror

 
Additional notes
  • The port-list is a list of monitor ports that transmit identical copies of mirrored packets.
  • The loopback-port is required when you mirror to a port-list. 
  • The loopback-port must be an unused port.
  • The loopback-port is not available for switching user data traffic.
