To reset smart-rf radio activity counters on a WiNG AP

  • WiNG APs
  • Smart-rf
  • CLI (Command Line Interface)
  • SSH (Secure Shell)
  • Console connection (baud rate 115200 or 19200)
Procedure
  1. To reset the radio activity counters, the smart-rf history has to be cleared. If smart-rf information is required, it is advisable to collect the smart-rf report prior to clearing the history, per these instructions: How to Collect a Smart RF report from WiNG Wireless Controllers and/or Access Points
Example of radio activity counters:
#show smart-rf radio activity on default

  1. Once done, reset the radio activity counters by logging into the controller or AP and running the following commands:
>en
#service smart-rf clear-history on <rf-domain-name>
#show smart-rf radio activity on <rf-domain-name>          (to verify that counters have been cleared)
