Objective
When SNMP walk is not showing LLDP neighbor system-name with OID ".1.0.8802.1.1.2.1.4.1.1.9", then SNMP walk will print the following output:

[netscan]$ snmpwalk -v2c -c public psit0054 .1.0.8802.1.1.2.1.4.1.1.9
iso.0.8802.1.1.2.1.4.1.1.9.0.69.1 = ""
iso.0.8802.1.1.2.1.4.1.1.9.0.70.1 = ""
iso.0.8802.1.1.2.1.4.1.1.9.0.71.1 = ""


The switch displays "show lldp neighbor" neighbor normally:

Procedure
Check if the lldp neighbor is configured to advertise its system-capabilities & system-name

Example:

configure lldp port 50 advertise system-name
configure lldp port 50 advertise system-capabilities
configure lldp port 50 advertise management-address
