To Upgrade your license, log into the license portal at https://extremeportal.force.com/ExtrLicenseLanding

You will need to provide:
  1.  A valid maintenance contract number for Extreme Management Center (NetSight Extreme Management Control)
  2. The current " 0001:NMS-<key data>==" license key from the Extreme Management Center server.

Once you have received the new license apply it to the Extreme Management Center server. Directions for applying it in the NetSight Client applications or Extreme Management Control OneView are as follows: 
 
Additional notes
  • Any license created on November 30, 2018 or later will work with (4.x through) 8.2 and higher.
  • Any license created on June 1, 2017 or later will work with (4.x through) both 7.x and 8.1.
  • Any license created on April 1st, 2016 or later will work with (4.x through) 7.x.
  • The grace period for a version 5.x or 6.x license working with version 7.x or 8.x of Netsight is 90 days.
  • What goes into the license key field is the Activation Key (beginning "0001:") normally configured into NetSight.
  • You must have a valid NetSight contract in order for the regenerate process to work.
  • Only one NetSight (NMS) license needs to be upgraded per server system.  Other capacity, assessment, and NAC licenses will not need to be upgraded.
  • If the license has not been upgraded when 7.0.1.13 or higher is installed the user will get notified every time they log into Extreme Control Center.
