TitleNAC Integration Guides - Guest Captive Portal with Extreme Wireless and Local Database Authentication
Objective
To provide a step-by-step example of the minimum configurations necessary to bring up a Web Portal to grant Guest Access to Extreme Wireless users, via Authentication against the NAC internal database.
Environment
  • ExtremeManagement v7.0.3.12
  • Extreme Management Center v7.0.3.12
  • Extreme Access Control v7.3.0.12
  • ExtremeWireless v10.01.06.0006
Procedure
Note1: Please read the “Additional notes” section of this Guide prior to implementing any of the procedures.  Failure to do so may result in loss of configurations.
Note2: Prior to implementing any of the procedures of this Guide, please perform a backup of the ExtremeWireless Controller and the ExtremeControll Database.

Additional notes
Execution of the script described in Steps XXX thru XXX requires that Policy be re-enforced to the ExtremeWireless Controller.  If there are pre-existing ExtremeWireless Controller configurations, these must be imported into Policy Manager, prior to running the configuration script.

This Guide makes the following assumptions:

1. That the wireless controller has been configured with proper Network Addressing, “Read/Write” SNMP credentials, Administrative CLI credentials, and has been modeled in Extreme Management Center.

2. That the Extreme Access Control has been configured with proper Network Addressing, “Read/Write” SNMP credentials, the Extreme Management Center IP Address, and has been modeled in Extreme Management Center.
