How clear an ARP entry blocked by DVR loop detection.
Environment
  • Virtual Services Platform 7200
  • Software 8.0.7.2
Procedure
Clear the blocked ARP entry using the CLI command: clear dvr host-entries ipv4 [ip address] l3isid [l3iside ID]

For Example:
Log Message for blocked ARP entry associated with IP 104.145.35.160
GlobalRouter DVR WARNING Detected a looping ARP, Block local ARP on UNI, Do not update DVR (IP 104.145.35.160 L3ISID 306100 L2ISID 35), Check for Loop

clear dvr host-entries ipv4 104.145.35.160 l3isid 306100
Additional notes
Do not PING the impacted IP until after the entry has been cleared else the impacted IP will not be reachable.
