Question

Can NI-CER-2024F-RT-AC support up to 1.5 Million IPV4 routes?
If you are running BGPand need to full BGProuting table, then it is recommend that the CER support 1.5 million routes to allow for scale.

Environment
Answer

The CER with RT_Scale can support 1.5 Million routes but they shouldhave 0A chipset, so that the hardware can support that many routes.

CER's with FF chip set cannot support 1.5 Million routes even if they have RT_Scale License.

In such case , the only option is to change the hardware and request it with 0A chipset.

Steps to follow to increase the routes.

1. Check to see if Hardwarecan support (with0A chipset) in the hardware .
