Question
Can WLANs using the same VLAN be locally bridged and tunneled?
Environment
  • RFS4010
  • NX9XXX
  • NX75XX
  • NX55XX
  • WirelessWiNG Controllers
  • WiNG v5.x Software
  • WirelessWiNG
  • WiNG v5
  • WirelessWiNG Access Points
Answer
When mapping VLAN's to wireless LANs, please ensure that the same VLAN is not configured for a tunnel and locally bridge WLAN. This is not a valid configuration and is not supported by Extreme Networks. A VLAN's bridging more can either be tunnel or locally bridged, but not both.
