TitleCan I use "source-address" as a match condition in a Routing Policy
Question
  • Can i use "source-address" as a match condition in a Routing Policy?
Environment
  • EXOS
  • All Platforms
  • Routing Policy
Answer
  • No, source-address is not supported as a match condition in a policy, which is going to be associated with any routing protocol.
  • "NLRI" is to be used instead of "source-address" as a match condition on all policies, which are going to be applied on routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, ISIS, PIM etc.
For example:
entry AllowBlockDevices {
if match any {
    nlri 192.168.10.1/32 ;}
then {
    permit;
           }
}
entry DropAnythingElse {
if match all {
}
then {
    deny;
         }
}
  • This is by design in EXOS.
