TitleHow can I change global native VLAN using NOSv2.x?

Default VLAN is also known as the Native VLAN.
Environment
Answer
When using NOSv2.x, you can only change the Default/Native VLAN on a per interface level. You cannot change the global default VLAN. This is set to VLAN1.

To change the default VLAN per interface, use the following command:
vdx6720# configure terminal
Entering configuration mode terminal
vdx6720(config)# interface TenGigabitEthernet 1/0/1<<<Replace with Port Number
vdx6720(conf-if-te-1/0/1)# switchport trunk native-vlan 100<<<Replace with desired Default VLAN ID

This sets the Native VLAN for the specified port.

To change default vlan globally in newer versions port-profile default can be modified:

port-profile default
vlan-profile
switchport
switchport mode trunk
switchport trunk native-vlan 1
<<<Replace with desired Default VLAN ID
!
