Answer
WING Wireless controllers that need to communicate with NSight server must have "no controller adoption", which is enabled by default. Controller adoption is used for OneView deployments.

Access the wireless controller CLI and perform the following.

The following is from the wireless controller at device level (self):

enable [enter]
self [enter]
no controller adoption [enter]
commit write [enter]

The following is from the wireless controller at the profile level:

enable [enter]
config [enter]
profile controller_model profile_name [enter] (controller model has to be the correct model. E.g. rfs4000, nx5500, vx9000, and so on. Profile name is the actual profile that the controller is mapped to)
no controller adoption [enter]
commit write [enter]
