Icon color dot
Environment
  • Extreme Management Control
  • NetSight
  • OneView
  • Maps
  • End Systems
  • Icon
Answer
The dot in the upper left indicates status of the client. The possible status and the associated color dots are:

  • "Status Critical", "red"
  • "Status Warning", "yellow"
  • "Status OK", "green"
  • "Status Unknown", "grey"
  • "No Status", ""

The status is based on the state of the EndSystem from the NAC Endsystems table:
  • An EndSystem is green if the state contains “Accept” & the number of location changes is less than 5.
  • An EndSystem is yellow if the state contains “Quarantine” or “Assesment” & the number of location changes is between 4 and 10.
  • An EndSystem is red if the state contains “Rejected” or “Error” or the number of location changes is greater than or equal to 10.
  • If none of these conditions match the state is Unknown/gray.
