Answer
  • The availability of firmware or software downloads depends on factors such as warranty or service contract; if covered by a contract who holds the contract, the partner or the end customer company or organization.
  • For products covered by warranty you must be the registered owner of the product to have access to the firmware via your Support Portal account.
  • If the product warranty has expired you need to have the product covered by a service contract or agreement.  Only the contract holder will have access to the firmware.  If you are a partner and you hold the service contract the firmware should be available in your Partner Portal Account.  If the end customer company or organization holds the contract then the firmware should be available in the end customer's Support Portal Account.
  • Firmware access under warranty is shown in Table 1 on Page 2 of this document:

Note that the warranty applies only to the registered owner of the product.
