Environment
  • All Extreme Exos switches
  • All Exos versions.
Answer
These error messages indicate that the switch has reported EDP checksum errors. This occurs when the switch receives corrupted EDP data on a port. This could be a physical layer issue or a problem with the switch.
If a peer switch has a parity error, transmitted PDUs might be corrupted.
