TitleWhat is the cost of aggregated interface?
Question
What is the OSPF cost of aggregated interface?
Environment
  • EXOS
  • OSPF
  • LAG or LACP
Answer
The cost of base interface only will be calculated even if two or more interfaces are aggregated.

For example, default cost (metric) value of 1G interface is 4.
Even though you aggregate two of 1G ports via LAG or LACP so the bandwidth becomes 2G, the OSPF cost of the aggregated interface (VLAN) is still 4.

Basically, the EXOS doesn't support the reference bandwidth configuration.
