Question
When radius is enabled for management access which attribute value pair radius or NPS server needs to return in order for the authenticated user to get admin Privilege.
Environment
  • All ISW Industrial switches 
  • Radius
  • windows NPS
Answer

If a Linux based radius server is used then the clients.conf file needs to have the priv-lvl=15 for admin access 

If windows NPS server is used then Cisco-AV-Pair with shell:priv-lvl=15 needs to be returned.

By default the user would get Privilege is 1.
