  • Why are APs not routing traffic to the network?
  • Ping to routed switch or any resource on the network fails.

Answer
One of the causes would be that no VLANs, identical to those on the corporate network, have been created on the AP/s to allow traffic through. 

General rules:
  1. On the AP/s, create VLANs identical to those on the corporate network
  2. Map these VLANs to the appropriate WLANS
  3. Allow these VLANs on the ge interface
  4. Make sure that the same VLANs are allowed through the routed Switch port/s the APs are connected to
