Event: Parity error SPI3 Multicast VLAN Replication Table Parity Error occurred on NP device serving ports 2/5 - 2/8

  • NI-MLX-10Gx8-M
Answer
The error is related to Multicast/PIM and as it describes, is a Parity error.
Parity errors are normally referred to as "Soft Errors"
They are either corrected automatically by software or by a reload of the LP/Chassis.
If the errors are constant and continue after a reload, they are likely related to a hardware issue either caused by faulty software programming or faulty hardware, which would require an RMA
