Go to Configuration - Auto Provisioning Policy - To add a new rule, click Add and define the rule parameters.
Set the rule precedence number – set Operation to Allow – select proper device type – select match parameters for AP (i.e use ‘IP’ to define the AP subnet) – select RF Domain for APs – select proper AP profile name – press OK - press Commit and Save
Once the provisioning policy has been created, it has to be mapped to the controller (NOT the AP) profile in order to activate it.
Go configuration > Devices > Device Configuration > Select the controller from the list > Edit > Adoption > Auto-Provisioning-Policy > From the drop down menu select the policy you created earlier > OK > Commit and Save.
