DYNAMIC SET GlobalRouter SW WARNING Memory reached 89% utilization, module will reboot when 95% utilization is reached 
GlobalRouter SW ERROR Memory reached critical level of 95% utilization, generating core dump

  • VSP 7200
  • VSP 4000
  • Releases prior to VOSS 6.1.0.0
Cause
Software defect VSP8000-202
Resolution
Upgrade to VOSS 6.1.0.0 or later
Additional notes
  • Memory leak caused by fragmented ICMP packets.
  • Memory loss typically observed during steady state on 1 specific node in the network and node's IST peer may not experience the same memory loss issue.
