  • Extreme Management Center Archive results in configuration loss/connectivity outage.
  • Missing management IP address after archive of ERS switch.

  • Extreme Management Center (XMC, formerly NetSight)
  • Software Releases Prior to 8.1.4.40
  • ERS
  • BOSS
  • Archive
  • Scheduled Backup
  • Menu Driven CLI
Cause
In software releases prior to 8.1.4.40 the BOSS TFTP and BOSS SFTP scripts did not properly support MENU driven mode on the above ERS (BOSS) platforms and switches may lose configuration or be restarted unexpectedly. CLI mode is required.
