Symptoms
DHCP relay forwarding path are properly configured but DHCP Relay is not working on switch.

Cause
DHCP Relay was not enabled globally on switch
 
switch(config)#show ip dhcp-relay
===============================
       DHCP Relay Global      
===============================
DHCP relay is disabled
DHCP relay option82 is disabled
DHCP relay max-frame is 576
Resolution
With DHCP relay enabled, the switch can relay client requests to DHCP servers on different Layer 3 VLANs or in remote networks. It also relays server replies back to the clients. 

1. Enter Global Configuration mode:
enable
configure terminal
2. At the command prompt, enter the following command:
ip dhcp-relay 
 
Additional notes
Use the following procedure to configure DHCP relay.

Procedure
1. Ensure that DHCP relay is enabled globally. 
2. Configure the DHCP relay forwarding path by specifying a local VLAN as the DHCP relay agent and the remote DHCP server as the destination.
3. Enable DHCP relay for the specific VLAN.
