Symptoms
Controller crashes after update from 10.41.12.0006 to 10.51.07.0006 below HSM not responding message seen in the controller logs.
Controller has no usable network connectivity
Critical    Startup Manager                 Initiating Reboot.  Cause: HSM Not Responding (Case 1).

Cause
Under investigation
Resolution
Workaround:
  • Disconnect all network interfaces from the controller to avoid crash
  • Use rescue image to recover to previous version
