Symptoms
IPv6 local/direct routes with prefixes greater than 64 bites that configured for redistribution into ISIS are not showing up in routing tables of other Fabric Connect nodes.
Environment
  • VSP 4900
  • VSP 7200
  • VSP 7400
  • VSP 8200
  • VSP 8400
Cause
VSP 4450 Series are not affected. For other VSP Series the route table is a shared hardware resource where IPv4 routes consume one entry and IPv6 routes with a prefix length less than 64 consume two entries.
Resolution
The following config flag should be enabled:

boot config flags ipv6-mode
