Environment
  • X435-8P with EXOS 30.7
Cause
The X435-8p switches do not have Mgmt support. However 30.5 still had the Mgmt-VR created for X435-8p with the associated configurations. But 30.7 has removed the Mgmt-VR for the x435-8p.

So the crash is seen on the X435-8p variant switches when a configuration created with Mgmt-VR is loaded on the 30.7 version. This is a software bug and needs to be corrected.

Resolution
Fix will be included with 30.7.1 patch scheduled to be released by the end of October 2020

Fix will also be included in new 31.1 releases

Please check the JIRA case#EXOS-27082 for more details.
