Message 4/61 Syslog Message 08.32.02.0008 01/07/2019 10:45:19
<3>System[4]Incompatible pluggable module detected on ge.4.11
==============================================================================
Environment
  • S-Series
  • SFP FTLX8574D3BCL
  • Firmware 8.X and higher
  • ISCSI
Cause
  • Ten Gig pluggable installed in port that is not SFP+
  • The SFP FTLX8574D3BCL, functions at 10gb only. It is not a "dual-rate" (1gig/10gig) SFP. That is why it only works in a port that is 10-gig capable
Resolution
  • In order to connect using 1-gig ports, you would need to either use a 1-gig SFP or a dual-rate (1-gig/10-gig) SFP.
