802.1x authentication failing with logon failure (0xc000006d) with known good username/password
Output of "wbinfo -t" results in the following:

winbindd process started with wrong smb.conf file
Remove the /var/run/samba/winbindd.pid file
Issue the command:

The issue has been resolved if the command results in the following
"checking the trust secret for domain <Your_Domain> via RPC calls succeeded"
It may be necessary to delete all winbindd process.
Do a 'ps -A |grep winbindd'
You should see several process. Use a 'kill -9 PID#' to delete them one at a time. Check 'ps -A|grep winbindd' again to make sure it did not start itself again and then go to step 2 above.
