TitleAfter restarting the IO-blades of a BD8k during a hitless upgrade base-T SFPs come up with wrong speed/duplex settings
Symptoms
After "disable slot <x>" and "enable slot <x>" as part of a hitless upgrade, any base-T SFPs inserted in x-type IO-blades (i.e. G24Xc) come up with wrong speed/duplex settings (i.e. 100 half, instead of 1000 full).
Regular fiber SFPs are not affected.
Environment
  • BD8810
  • Black Diamond
  • BD8k
  • 16.2
Cause
This is a bug and will be fixed under xos0073577
Resolution
If it's a single port, you can disable/enable the port to change the settings. If the port is part of a link aggregation, then the link aggregation needs to be broken apart to change the negotiation settings again.
Else upgrade to xos0073577 which is planned to be included in the November 2018 patch of 16.2
