Symptoms
Archive device in Inventory Manager fails with error:  SNMP STACK Timeout
Environment
  • NetSight
  • Inventory Manager
Cause
Resolution
Restart the NetSight server services.

For Windows:  Right Click on the Services Manager icon and select Restart running services

For linux:  cd into /NetSight_install/path/NetSight/scripts.  Issue command:  ./stopserver.sh && ./startserver.sh

Note:  It can take a few minutes for the server to fully start.
