TitleBFD session goes down when VPLS is used and cvid is removed from CEP vlan
Symptoms
bfd session goes down on the MPLS link after a cvid is deleted from a CEP service vman port where sharing is enabled
Environment
  • MPLS
  • VPLS
  • VMAN cep
  • BFD
  • port sharing (LAG)
Cause
This is caused by CR xos0066782.
When the cvid is deleted you see following messages in the log.
configure vman EVM add ports 29 cep cvid 1 - 4049

Resolution
To fix this when it happens a reboot is needed.

A permanent fix would be upgrading to an EXOS release containing the fix for CR xos0066782.

Currently the following EXOS releases are scoped for this fix:
16.2.3 
21.1.3-patch-May2017
22.3.1
