TFTP server or router CLI reports file not found although the file is clearly in the computer's directory
Image Revision Number 7.6.17.0001
Solarwinds TFTP server or similar
When the last release of the XSR images, 7.6.17.0001 was produced the file attribute "S" for system was set in error. This applies to all versions of this revision. If you are using SolarWinds TFTP server then files with the "S" attribute set cannot be read by the server.
Use a different TFTP server such as TFTPd. As of this writing TFTPd is available for free downloading at this URL: http://tftpd32.jounin.net/
The attributes can be seen by opening the downloaded zipped archive in WINZIP.
You can also see this attribute if you open the directory containing the file with Windows Explorer, select "View", "choose details" and select "Attributes" then click OK. Now the attributes can be seen in the directory window.
